Miki, I think this came out really nicely. The pastel against the black background is really luminous and dramatic, and the individual elements feel very well placed. The one thing I thought about during the critique was that I wish the various elements in the middle region of the piece extended further into the negative space on either side. That part of the piece looks too constrained to me. I like the way the bubbles at the top and bottom stray out toward the edges of the piece -- I think all of them should do the same. My favorite part of this piece is the bundle of linear elements in the middle -- this is so well done, and it very powerfully evokes a sense of upward movement. Finally, this piece could easily have been overworked; I think you did a great job of exercising restraint. I know how much planning went into this piece. Sometimes simplicity is the hardest thing to get right! Great job overall with this.
