Carson, my favorite parts of this drawing are the framed squares that have that curious little triangular protrusion. These suggest a succession of three loud sounds that don't overlap -- like a car horn honking, perhaps. I'm not sure about the background. I find myself wishing that the background were more uniform. The black splotches are a little too heavy for the square elements and threaten to overpower them. This may be relevant to your sound, of course, but visually I think it would be stronger without them. If you went over the whole drawing with a light spray of one color (or a solid wash applied with a sponge) it might help unify your composition.
I really enjoy the textures and colors in this piece, they are very cohesive and harmonious. I think it may have benefitted from some more saturated pops of color for the sake of awakening the viewer's eye. I don't get a clear sound from this although I can tell it is repeating and perhaps receding in space.
