Carson, all in all, I think this was a wonderful way for you to end the year. Although I agree with some of the comments suggesting you do more with the triangular elements, I find the composition very strong overall -- bravo! And I actually like the arrangement and color of the purple circles. They give the whole piece a sense of depth, like we're looking into an abstract space and not just at flat paper. The only thing I might have liked to see is more complexity in the orange and blue -- adding thin layers of other colors in certain areas would make the orange oranger and the blue bluer. But I do like the fact that those areas aren't solid but are washy -- this again underscores the spatial aspect of the piece. I hope you're proud of the piece, even if abstraction isn't exactly your thing!
