Miki, this turned out to be such a mysterious and evocative drawing that could mean so many things. During the critique I found myself thinking that the head should be a bit smaller -- it just looks too big relative to the shoulders. While I really like the little scraps of letters, I'm not sure I like the paper cloud element at the top. The way it partially covers the face makes it seem more like a mask than like clouds, and it gives the whole drawing an eerie and violent feel. I wonder if another rectangular piece of paper up there with clouds drawn it would do better to convey your meaning. I do also think you need some more space up there (I'm picturing a piece of paper covered largely in black but with a central cluster of clouds. The drawn elements themselves are fantastic: exquisite hands, terrific folds. It's just something compositional that needs some work here, it seems to me. Such a powerful and poetic piece -- I think it's worth resolving all the way.
