Michelle, I agree with all that was said during the critique about the left panel being stronger than the right. The left piece is compositionally so strong, and the characters feel much more intentionally placed (and now the chest seems more correct in size!). The panel on the right bothers me for several reasons: first, it's not the same size as the on on the left, which makes it look sloppy and awkward. Second, I don't like that the "stamps" go off the edges of the paper -- and the boy's head, too. It just feels like the whole drawing needs more space around it. Of the stamps themselves, I think the one in the lower right is the strongest -- that one really feels like a stamp. In general, I just think you gave so much of your attention to the left piece that you didn't have enough time for the other. I think you should consider doing another right panel. It's such a strong idea, and I think the success of the left panel calls for equal success on the right!
