Miki, this piece is very intriguing. My favorite parts are the city skyline that looks like it's disintegrating on the right and the rays of light on the left that go from positive to negative -- really terrific detail. As for the figures, I wish they weren't both on the same level as the street lamp. The bottom of the composition could be stronger. Also, the way the man's hat is separated from what's above it looks awkward to me. Maybe that negative space should be more of a shape than what reads as an outline. Very curious narrative -- it does make me think!
This is great, Miki! It is technically excellent and gives off a retro, 1940s/50s feel. The narrative is somewhat ambiguous beyond the couple with the rose. I'm not sure what's happening with the city, but I like it. The crescent cut-out in the back could give indication of night or day, which adds an interesting element. I think you may want to resolve the tangent where the side of the woman's dress touches the edge of the piece. Otherwise, well done!
Miki, this is great! When I first saw this piece, I was immediately drawn to the city in the background slowly dripping away, which is great craftsmanship! I especially love the different rays of light coming out of the streetlamp, with those tiny pieces of black adding so much detail. Great job!
I like your combination of arc and hard lines. The two characters chatting with city's skyline at the back is truely beautiful and I like it a lot. My personal suggestion is to add a bit more to the bottom, the bottom currently seems a bit empty. I think overall you have done a great job .
I really like your composition and the mood you created with the orange color. For me it would be better if you create some organic shape at the bottom of your work instead of keeping it blank.
I really like this one. The composition is really great and use of background orange colored paper adds a mood to the drawing. I like how she used the simple straight lines to show the lights comes out from streetlamp and it really works well! I can see that there are lot of details on flowers and lamps and I really appreciate her work. Nice job Miki!
I love it!! It is so romantic ! Just like some scenes in the movie! I don' have any suggestions here. Maybe cutting some blank place will be more better.
This seems to be a very romantic story, in fact it reminds me of scenes in some movies. I think the light part on the right can actually be more concise.
this is very detailed. I see you have a lot of small shapes by yourself and i commend you for putting in so much work. i do see a bit of a story playing out here and its very pleasent. you have a lot of hard lines here and curves and this is done well
