Christina cutout

  1. Christina, what a striking and evocative image! The unconventional composition makes perfect sense here, and the whole thing is quite ominous. The only thing I would suggest is that there be more black space on all four edges. The increase in black will add to the intensity of the mood -- and it will make us feel like we're further down in the hole. And maybe you don't even need that tree. The image may be more powerful with just negative space there. It would also be more ambiguous, since we wouldn't know whether this was taking place inside or outside.

  2. Wow, this is great! The piece is so eerie and unconventional, it's lots of fun to look at! I love the inclusion of the delicate tree branches and how you've kept the figures pretty solid and relatively undefined. I think you could consider giving the piece more black space at the top, it's a little awkward up there. Otherwise, fabulous work!

  3. love this love it so much. the detail is great. i fully understood what was happening in the picture. its just so fun to have this idea of being buried alive and having to look up at everyone who is condemning you. i think this gives enough mystery and still being clear at the same time

  4. Wow, Christina! The perspective that you've achieved is phenomenal. It really gives off a grim atmosphere. When I saw it, I immediately thought of the movie The Ring, with the perspective of the well on the movie poster. I agree with Taney in that you should add a little bit more black to the corners of the piece, but not too much. Overall, awesome job!

  5. Your angle is so creative, It reminds me of those ancient paintings on the apex of arch in church. This perspective is truely amazing and I like it a lot. My suggestions is that you could add a bit more details to it, other wise this might feels a bit simple. Other than that, I think this artwork is truely amazing and I like it a lot.

  6. I really like your composition which have a negative space in the middle. It is a strong piece and I am really enjoy it. However, I think you can cut off a bit from the bottom to make the native space in the middle.

  7. It is so cool! I love the composition of your work! I think it is creative and really interesting. There are so many details in your work that makes it narrative. For me, the middle of your work seems a little bit empty. May be you can add some small decorations, such as birds or leaves. Great work!
