This is really good, Ally! I especially love the use of purple throughout the piece, it really gives this cosmic, otherworldly element to the piece. I also love how you've added in those little strokes of white in there to incorporate highlights. I think if you wanted to go all the way and make it this otherworldly, dream-like scene, perhaps you could add some more blues into it. Overall, great job!
Ally, what a moody drawing this is -- with those electrified trees, it looks almost radioactive! I love what you did with the tree canopy. I can see that you began with an underlayer of soft, blended color and went over it with irregular patches of pure color. The effect is quite beautiful and very dramatic. Same with the trunks -- there's so much color in there. One thing I might suggest is that you bring some more greens up (and down) into those purples. While I see that there's green there, it reads as mostly purple. I don't think you'll lose any of the drama by doing that -- I just think it would serve to unify the image as a monochrome. Also, be careful with those blacks -- they can really jar the eye and make a hole in your drawing! (The smaller strokes of black work well here, but not so much the larger patch int he middle right.)
I have no clue how you did this drawing but i love it a lot. this just reminds me of a glowing forest and it just so amazing and impressive that you did this with the chalk. i'm not exactly sure what could make the piece better. my eye goes directly to the foggy smoke in the air and i just cant take my eyes off it
This really feels very mysterious and foggy. At the same time, it gaves me a sense of gloominess. It looks like a forest (I am just guessing) and have darken vibes to it. Personally I really like the atmosphere that you creates, in which it reminds me of Chernobyl.
