Sisley Cubism 1

  1. Sisley, these look very good in terms of the different views and how you've incorporated the objects into the space around them, but I think the whole thing looks too dark. See if you can introduce some more light shapes by making a fifth (simpler) drawing. Another option is to lighten them up in Photoshop before printing them for the collage. Whatever you do, just be sure you have a wide range of values to work with.

  2. These are really interesting, Sisley! I love how you maintain your painterly style while translating it to cubism. I think you could pop some more highlights in, as you have successfully done in the top left image.

  3. Your works are terrific! But I think you need some lighter values since the whole images look too dark to me.

  4. I like your homework. They look very mysterious, I think you can brighten up the highlights of objects

  5. I love the dramatic darkness of your drawings! But I think you can add more light to show the light source like what you did in the first drawing. I also like the sense of volume of your objects. Great works!
