Michelle, these look interesting as drawings, but I don't really get a sense of what your object is. I wonder if there's a way for you to add some more clarity, or to make another drawing or two that shows it more clearly. As it is, your drawings look almost abstract. What I do like very much is what you've done with your values. Many of the shapes look slightly volumetric, which is terrific. I would consider adding some flat (opaque) shapes as well for your collage. And don't forget to consider varying the scale of your cut-out shapes!
These are really cool Michelle! They remind me of a topographic map of a mountain range. Perhaps your object is a crumpled piece of paper or some fabric? I think you could make a neat "double image" effect in your collage.
Your works are really interesting and I like the smooth value in your drawing. However, maybe you need more hard outlines to clarify your object and it may also easier for you to cut off the pieces and make the collage.
These drawings look really interesting and remind me of the rough surface of the rock. But I think if we can see what the object is, it will be helpful for the next collage.
Your works looks a lot more fuzzy than others, in a good way. I really like how you combined rough surface and fuzzy lines together. Personally I would suggest you to darken the third artwork, because it's relatively lighter, and it feels a bit unfinished. I think you have done a great job and I like these drawings a lot.
The texture of your drawings look interesting! They remind me of some wrinkled papers that can reflect light. I think in your first drawing you need more contrast to clarify your object, because the color in it is a little bit too blurred. But the overall effect looks good to me!
this reminds me of paper like someone else project. i wish the shading followed the lines a bit more so that it looked more clean or organized. but if the shading followed the lines more then it would give you more of the hard lines that would make the shapes
