Yunxin hands

  1. Yunxin, as far as anatomy goes, the hands all the way on the left and all the way on the right look great. The others, however, need some work. Perhaps these weren't as carefully observed. Try squinting your eyes to discern the larger shapes first, and remember that what you see (since the hands are being seen in perspective) is not always how you expect things to be. And while I like what the hands are doing and their arrangement, I wish you'd done something to activate the background. I think you have a few more hours to go on this drawing! With the two hands that look great you've proved that you can do hands quite well -- see what you can do to bring the others up to that level.

  2. I really love the angular structure of these hands, Rhett. It is also neat that you include the sleeves and extend the hands off the page. I think you could extend the hand in the top middle to go off the page and it would be more cohesive with the rest. Looks great!

  3. You use geometric shapes to depict them, which is interesting. But if you get the anatomy more correctly, they would be convincing.
