Yunxin, Your drawing came out great in many ways. I like the idea very much, and your use of loose brushstrokes makes it feel like a traditional Chinese scroll painting. I do think the composition can be improved -- maybe if you just bring some of the foliage on the left-hand side of the drawing up into the area where the calligraphy is? See if you can activate that negative space up here so that it doesn't look like such a horizontal band.
i loved this so much. it just has so much of your style. i think some people had comments about how they wondered how this was a self portrait but this picture just radiates you. just because this isn't physically you doesn't mean it isn't showing use who you are. i'm not exactly sure how to explain it but i very much do see this as a self portrait of you
