Michelle, I really enjoy your color choices here. The pallet is refined yet fun and youthful, like yourself I imagine! I am noticing that in places there is a white outline around the objects, presumably because you didn't want all the color to blend together. Like around the flowers, below the owl's feathers and above the lion. They are just a little distracting. But great work!
Michelle, I wonder if this piece might be strengthened by a fully black background (I mean black in the negative spaces behind the owl, stars, and other objects). This will make things look much more dramatic. Great use of color here otherwise, though, and I love the fancifulness.
theres a lot going on here but i do think this is very ambitious. the colors compliment each other. the lines on the stars could have a little bit straighter but each individual thing was done very well.
I really like your color, which is bright and warm. Also, the black negative space in the down left corner that forms a star is interesting to look at! I think the bottom half of your work is fine and beautiful, but may be you can add more details to the owl. It is a wonderful piece!
