The other artists we looked at today in class were: John Currin (American, contemporary), Francis Bacon (British, 20th c.), Van Gogh (Dutch, 19th c.), Leonardo (Italian, 15th c.), Cindy Sherman (American, contemporary), and Chuck Close (American, contemporary).
